Privacy Policy — Subtask Rules

Effective date: 4 August 2026 · Vendor: Schema Tools

Summary

Subtask Rules runs entirely on Atlassian Forge, inside Atlassian’s infrastructure. We do not operate any servers, and your data never leaves Atlassian.

What the app accesses

The app reads, with the acting user’s own permissions: the project’s issue types, project details (to detect team-managed projects) and workflow configuration. When a Jira administrator enables enforcement, the app updates the project’s workflow to attach its validator.

What the app stores

Your rules configuration (a matrix of issue type IDs and an enabled flag) is stored as a project property inside your own Jira site. Nothing is stored outside Atlassian, and nothing is sent to the vendor or any third party.

Personal data

None. The app does not collect, store or process any personal data — the stored configuration contains only Jira issue type IDs and a true/false flag.

Egress

None. The app declares no external endpoints and is eligible for Atlassian’s “Runs on Atlassian” program.
